I am fortunate to have been brought up in a family where there was a lot of love. My parents were very mindful of the needs of others and showed kindness and compassion in helping those in need.
At the time that my first project in Ghana (2015-2020) was completed, my father became ill and whilst caring for him in his final days we spoke a lot about his life and the importance of kindness and helping others. He told me that I should go back to Ghana and help more children and through his encouragement more children have been helped not only in Ghana, but in Nigeria, Kenya and Tanzania too.
