In 2017 David contacted me having seen an article in the local newspaper picturing children in the Rehabilitation Center in Ghana that I had visited.
David inspired me in many ways. His encouragement and commitment towards those children at the Physically Challenged Action Foundation Center in Offinso, Ghana was unbelievable; a man with compassion who felt compelled to help.
At this point in time the project was building a kitchen in the Center. David spoke about an organisation called Meeting Needs, that gives grants to worthy causes and through David we submitted a proposal and funding was received to support the work.
Later, in 2019, when we were building footpaths at the Center for wheelchair users and crippled children on crutches, again David suggested submitting a proposal which was successful and enabled footpaths to be constructed.
David’s interventions have enabled many children’s lives to be changed. Testimony to David, never to be forgotten.
