At MIDCA Tanzania, we envision a society where every child—regardless of ability—is seen, supported, and celebrated. Our goal is to build inclusive communities that uplift, empower, and embrace diversity.
Through compassionate care and bold innovation, we are helping children move beyond barriers and into lives full of promise and possibility.
For years, every Sunday, whilst on my way to church, I would stop and have
breakfast - always in the same place. One day, for no conscious reason, I changed my route and ended up breakfasting in a different cafe.
After breakfast I met Dawn Remy outside where she was setting up her table to evangelise. We spoke of each other’s work and after telling Dawn about MIDCA she invited me to her Seventh Day Adventist Church and introduced me to Pastor Andrew.
A Worship Night was arranged by Dawn. It was very successful and thanks to Pastor Andrew, Dawn and church members, we raised funds for three children, one in Ghana, one in Nigeria and another in Kenya.
As I was leaving church I spoke to a lady from Tanzania, Beatrice Sospeter, who told me that there were many children in her country with orthopaedic issues and that she had a sister who could assist. I was introduced to Eveline Sospeter Wagara on 14 May 2025 and on 3 June, the first child underwent surgery. By 5 July the fifth child had undergone medical procedures performed by Dr Mcharo Brayson at the Mauto Medical Care Clinic Tanzania.
I believe my meeting Dawn that day was Divine Intervention.
